The Lindsay Park Houses have been a beloved landmark in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, since 1964. Seven buildings spanning 14 acres, we’re still here!

Back in 2012, I started documenting Lindsay Park Oldtimers Day. A yearly event that brought together friends, family, past and present, to celebrate over 50 years of history. One of the highlights of the day was the Lindsay Park Basketball Tournaments, which took place every first Saturday in August at Sternberg Park, affectionately known as “The Big Park.”

Over the past 12 years, I’ve compiled a collection of photographs that capture the essence of Basketball Joy that has filled Sternberg Park. These images tell the story of the tournaments, the camaraderie among the players and spectators, and the rich history of the park.
