Research Title (tentative): Fashioning Memories and Places: Black Women’s Style in Harlem, 1970 - Present The purpose of this research is to investigate the intersections of place, space, style, and memory work with a focus on Black identity in NYC. Additionally, this study will culminate into a public museum exhibition on Cornell University’s campus, as well as a public, digital oral history project.
